Works began on site in Sligo University Hospital on Monday 14th October 2019 on the new Diabetic Unit. The new building will be a 285sqm single storey stand-alone structure of traditional build that will meet the needs of the paediatric and adult diabetes services in Sligo. The building will be located adjacent to the existing Orthodontics Department / Dental Surgery on the top of the hill to the north-east of the main hospital building.

Works continue to progress well on the Donegal Town Garda Station project. All demolition work in the existing building is complete and all structural steel on the new extension has been erected. Work has also commenced on the roof timbers and backfilling to the perimeter of building.

Boyle Construction are delighted to be appointed as Main Contractor for new 24 Classroom Primary School for Scoil Mhuire, Stranorlar, Co.Donegal.

The works include Construction of a New 24 Classroom National School in three-storey and part single storey incorporating Classrooms, SET rooms, GP rooms & stores, Teachers Room, Library resource room, Offices and other ancillary accommodation all of which extends to approximately 4,013m2. External works include the provision of a trunk access road and drop offs, new carpark, soft and hard pay areas, ancillary external store and all associated site utilities and drainage systems. There are also substantive surface upgrade, road crossing and traffic management works required to an adjacent public roadway at Millbrae Road that shall be utilised for site access throughout the works

Works began on site on Monday 27th July 2020 on the New 24 Classroom Primary School for Scoil Mhuire Stranorlar. The project has an 18 month programme and will incorporate SET rooms, GP rooms & stores, Teachers Room, Library resource room, Offices and other Ancillary Accommodation in addition to the 24 Classrooms.

Boyle Construction are delighted to have been appointed as the Main Contractor for the South Donegal Community Nursing Unit in Ballyshannon.

This project involves the construction of an 80 bed HIQA compliant Community Nursing Unit (CNU) as an extension to the Sheil Hospital. The 80 beds will consist of 66 single bedrooms and 7 twin bedrooms in a combination of Long Stay, Short Stay and Dementia Wards. The project also includes the upgrade of the existing building to accommodate a Day hospital amongst other ancillary services. The construction works will take place in a healthcare campus, and involve multiple phases during which the patients will be decanted off site to modular accommodation to be provided at the Rock Hospital Ballyshannon. The project also includes the construction of new public link road tying into the Knader Road.
